What are the installation requirements for the Hobart Ecomax F504 dishwasher?
Electrics – The dishwasher is set up to run on a single-phase 25amp supply as standard. However, it can be adjusted to run on a 3-phase (3x16amp) supply or downrated to single-phase 13amp if needed.
Important: If you opt for the 13amp supply, be aware that the initial heat-up time will be longer when first switched on. The wash cycle and recovery times will take a little longer too.
Ideally, any electrical adjustments should be made by the engineer during installation. However, we can make these changes before delivery for an additional charge. This will also extend the lead time.
Water – The unit requires a 22mm water connection with a temperature between 15°C and 65°C. Water pressure should be between 0.6 and 6.0 bar.
Waste – The dishwasher comes with a 2 metre flexible waste hose, which needs to be connected to a 40mm trapped standpipe.
Is the Hobart Ecomax F504 easy to use?
Absolutely! This commercial dishwasher is designed to be very easy to operate. Hobart has taken the advanced control panel technology from their top-of-the-line Profi dishwashers and built it into the Ecomax F504.
One-button operation – Everything you need for daily use is controlled with just one button.
Automatic drain & rinse – At the end of the day, the machine automatically drains and rinses the chamber and makes clean-down quick and hassle-free.
It’s a user-friendly dishwasher that makes life in the kitchen a whole lot easier.
How long does it take to wash?
The F504 offers three main wash cycles:
60 seconds – Great for a quick rinse when items aren’t too dirty.
120 seconds – A standard wash cycle for everyday use.
180 seconds – Ideal for heavily soiled items.
Important: If your dishwasher is running on a 13amp supply, the wash times will be longer due to the lower power setting. In some cases, cycles may take two to three times longer than the standard times quoted on Hobart spec. sheet and what is listed on our Ecomax Catering website.
