TripAdvisor have just launched a new feature on their review site allowing guests to leave private feedback for hoteliers, rather than making their concerns public. The move comes shortly after the launch of a government investigation into fraudulent activity on review sites and undisclosed endorsements.
Hoteliers will be able to select from a range of questions so the survey is tailored specifically to the feedback they require from their customers, it is hoped the private feedback will help protect businesses from malicious reviews whilst enabling them to highlight areas where improvements are required.
